Good piece, here you got the sword hands right :) reference I guess. The right guys has the legs too far apart though :D I imagine the model must've felt pretty uncomfortable..

Good work, I like the action and colour/hues in it! Makes me think of crusadors and these kind of tales.

i LOVE this picture.... and yes the models have something to do with it :D
excellent pose, excellent painting

so, is that the court of the lions at hte al hambra or something inspired by it?

It's basically the Courtyard of the Lions, yeah... I simplified the architecture and moved the fountain out of the central location, but yep, I steal from the Alhambra.

Go Moorish Spain! I love all the shafts of light you see in their architecture...

youre coloring and rendering are awsome im jealous.:angered:there are some proportional problems with the figures like with the figure on the lefts arms being too short. But otherwise awsome job.Id like to know what you used to color this.

Hee. That emoticon cracks me up.

I used a combo of Photoshop and Painter - I can never get one or the other to do everything I want, so I use them both. I mainly use a hard round brush in PS, with a smattering of BaronTieri's custom brushes, and the marker and Round Camelhair in Painter.
